In the case of Iron Mike, I think Skizzo is a lot more open about what he wants because it seems he's trying to use camp's policies & procedures to replace him. Someone who’s that smart wouldn’t have been caught that many times. Even with overwhelming evidence that Skizzo was trying to undermine him and eventually stage a coup he gives him 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances. Iron Mike refused to kill anyone because he genuinely believed that if they were to kill everyone who wronged them, nothing would differentiate survivors from the freaks. Lastly, everyone believes that their cause is the right one and that it’s a hill worth dying on. On the note about the postcard, while I do believe that he is sentimental, it’s entirely possible that it’s something he kept in his wallet as a reminder of who he is/where he’s come from maybe even before day 0. Whenever I start to think, “Man, I hate this asshole” I have to pull myself back and remind myself that they aren’t real and that their portrayal is so spot on that they’re doing exactly what they’re supposed to do. I usually use my mindset as the mark of a great actor/actress. Everyone there knows too much, and if there's one thing Skizzo hates, it's loose ends.įantastic post, literally forced me to sit down and think about why I hated the guy. Once he fails to take over, Lost Lake is another enemy that needs to be eliminated. And that he sees the best outcome for Lost Lake is the one in which he is in charge 😋 Someone shoulda been keeping an eye on him"Įdit to add: Yeah, when I said he has Lost Lake's best interest at heart, I should've elaborated to say that at that point in time in the story, Lost Lake and Skizzo's interests are 1000% intertwined. "I was just trying to help the guy blow off some steam with a couple shots, I had no idea he'd take the whole bottle out into the shit." Or if Boozer doesn't come back: "No idea where he got the whiskey. I think a more typical/one-dimensional villain would get their own hands dirty, but Skizzo is a genius at manipulation and leaves himself just the right amount of plausible deniability. He's so confident about his ability to get rid of people (and rightly so), he does it out in the open. That shit list is proof-positive of a pattern of behavior. I think you're spot-on about Skizzo getting rid of Boozer. I wish I'd put this level of detailed thought into the episode!! Though I gotta leave room to grow, haha.
